DIL is at the cutting edge of technology-enabled education delivery Beginning in 2015, the organisation took a big step forward by investing in an Education Management Information System (EMIS). DIL’s EMIS database provides live information to better inform recruiting and training practices, on-ground logistics, student demographics and assessment data.
As of April 2016, DIL is midstream in transitioning from its manual database to an online EMIS. To date, the reports and information generated by the system have been used to strengthen data sharing among departments and inform policy making. We are hopeful as the system comes fully online, it will continue to make collaboration seamless, and with live feedback, strengthen over all program delivery.
